I specialize in comprehensive, start-to-finish travel planning. Every trip I design is shaped by your wish list, my professional expertise, and a shared commitment to creating something truly memorable, not just well booked.
How I Work
My planning process is intentionally high-touch and detail-driven. I work by appointment only so each client receives focused attention, clear communication, and expert coordination throughout the planning journey.
I design travel experiences thoughtfully and comprehensively. That means I work best when I’m responsible for the full scope of your journey, from the big picture down to the details that make it feel effortless.
Because of this approach, I focus exclusively on complete trip planning rather than partial or piecemeal services. When all components are coordinated together, I’m able to ensure your trip flows smoothly, feels cohesive, and reflects the level of care Taylored Tours is known for.
For this reason, I do not book or manage standalone components, including (but not limited to):
• Airfare-only bookings
• Hotel-only reservations
• Train or transportation-only arrangements
• Day tours or excursions booked independently
• Pre- or post-trip planning for cruises or trips booked outside of Taylored Tours.
Please note: If you have already booked a river cruise or small ship ocean cruise on your own, and if you are able to transfer the reservation to me, I’d be happy to step in and manage the rest of your trip. From pre- and post-cruise hotels and transportation to excursions, dining suggestions, and travel tips, I’ll make sure everything works together seamlessly so you can relax and enjoy the experience, knowing the details are handled.
My role is to design and manage the experience as a whole, not to step in partway through the process. This allows me to deliver the level of service, accountability, and peace of mind my clients expect.
Planning Timeline
I strongly recommend beginning the planning process at least three months in advance (for some destinations, six months is preferred). This allows ample time to secure preferred accommodations, access top-tier guides and experiences, and build a well-paced itinerary that reflects your travel style.
Planning ahead ensures the quality, care, and attention to detail that define the Taylored Tours experience.
Destinations I Specialize In
Taylored Tours focuses on international travel, with particular expertise in Europe, river and ocean cruises, wine and culinary journeys, and immersive, multi-destination itineraries abroad. To remain deeply knowledgeable and deliver the highest level of service, I do not plan domestic U.S. travel (with the exception of Alaska). This focused approach allows me to maintain strong global partnerships and provide informed, up-to-date guidance for international journeys.
Because my focus is on delivering a thoughtfully designed, high-touch experience, price-matching and competing with online booking engines is not part of my business model. The value I provide goes far beyond what an algorithm or confirmation number can offer, and I’m confident you’ll quickly see the difference.

Once you approve your proposal, I’ll coordinate deposits, confirmations, and final details. You’ll receive a personalized itinerary and continued support leading up to, and during, your travels.

I specialize in comprehensive travel packages and work exclusively with trusted partners and 4- and 5-star accommodations to ensure a consistently high standard of experience.
All inquiries are carefully vetted to ensure alignment. Budgets are discussed early so expectations are clear and realistic, and I’m always happy to suggest alternatives if needed.
Please note: Airfare is only booked when it is part of a comprehensive itinerary coordinated through a preferred travel partner. I’m happy to advise on routing and timing prior to finalizing dates.

I ask that you keep an eye on your inbox, as this is my primary method of communicating time- sensitive and important details about your trip. I require that all trip communication is kept in writing via email.

Depending on the complexity and timing of your request, proposals may take up to 2 weeks to create and deliver. In addition, I am not a large corporation hidden behind 1-800 numbers. Taylored Tours provides clients with a helpful travel app containing all pertinent information for the vacation, including real time flight updates, addresses, contact information for the accommodations and tours, confirmation numbers, and vouchers (this app can be downloaded offline to use while traveling).
