Frequently Asked Questions

Why should we choose Taylored Tours?

image28

We are known for the following:

  • Friendly, personable, knowledgeable tour guide/driver who is truly invested in delivering the best tour experiences possible
  • Fully licensed and insured, meticulously well-maintained vehicle and safety-focused driver
  • Long-cultivated close relationships with a vast number of wineries, helping us to provide rich, value-added tasting experiences and superb wines for our guests.

May we drink alcohol in the vehicle?

Sorry, no. Here’s why: It's against the law...and combined with the wines you are tasting at the wineries, this extra drinking very often leads to some members of your group becoming inebriated, and possibly getting sick or passing out. Tasting rooms will refuse to serve intoxicated guests and your tour may have to end early. We want to help make yours a successful tour in which everyone in your party has a wonderful time.

How are the wineries selected? How far away are the wineries from downtown Durango?

If there are specific wineries you’d like to see, we’ll start there. We’re happy to schedule your tasting appointments into the wineries of your choice. We’ll help you select your destinations based on your preferences, and other factors, such as location considerations, appointment availability and our knowledge of great tasting experiences.

Several of the locations are located 45 minutes to an hour from downtown Durango...the scenic drives to these amazing destinations are awe-inspiring!
